AI and software for governments and cantons.
Uliasti builds AI agents, e-government software and data platforms for Swiss cantons, municipalities and public bodies. Case handling, citizen services and the modernisation of systems that have run for twenty years, delivered with the traceability public administration requires.
Where the work is
Where public administration spends its hours.
The law defines the process. The tooling rarely keeps up.
Case handling
Applications, permits and requests that pass through several desks. Agents prepare the case, check completeness and route it. Officials decide.
Citizen correspondence
The same questions to the same office, answered by hand. An agent answers from the official sources, in DE, FR and IT, and escalates the rest.
Legacy systems
Procedures that depend on a system nobody wants to touch. Modernised step by step, with the data migrated and the old system retired on a plan.
How we help
What we build for the public sector.
Traceable, multilingual, built to be procured and maintained.
AI agents
Agents for case preparation
Completeness checks, drafting of standard decisions and answers, with every step logged and the decision left to the official.
Shorter queues, same accountability.
E-government
Citizen-facing software
Online services and internal tools built on Swiss e-government standards, accessible and multilingual.
Services people can actually use.
Modernisation
Legacy modernisation
Incremental replacement of old administrative systems with data migration and a retirement plan, not a big-bang rewrite.
Lower risk, visible progress.
Data
Data platforms for administration
Governed data for reporting, planning and statistics, with access rules that match the legal basis.
Numbers the council can trust.
What it has to survive
The conditions this work has held up under.

Tools we integrate
Works with the platform you already run.
We build inside the tools your teams already use and in the systems behind them. We are an official Claude partner and neutral on everything else.

Modernize or Replace Legacy Systems?
When to modernise incrementally and when a rewrite is justified, with honest cost curves.

Public sector, answered.
Can a Swiss canton or municipality use AI agents in case handling?
Yes, for preparation rather than decision. An agent can check completeness, collect missing documents, draft standard answers and route a case, while the official makes and signs the decision. Every step is logged so the process stays auditable, and data stays in Switzerland.
How do you handle data protection in the public sector?
Hosting in Switzerland, access by role and legal basis, full logging, and no use of citizen data to train vendor models. Uliasti documents the setup so it can be reviewed by the data protection officer and by procurement.
Should we modernise or replace our old administrative system?
Usually modernise incrementally: isolate the parts that change most, migrate the data, and retire the old system module by module. A full rewrite is justified only when the old system blocks a legal change or can no longer be run safely.
Does Uliasti work within public procurement rules?
Yes. Engagements are scoped with fixed deliverables, budgets and dates so they fit procurement thresholds and review, and documentation is produced as part of the work rather than afterwards.
